| Brookside is a 72-unit apartment complex divided up
between four garden-style buildings nestled amongst lush landscape
and overlooking a rocky brook. This unique environment offers the
privacy and security of a smaller community with the enchantment of
a nature setting. Located
on the northeast edge of downtown Ann Arbor between North Campus and
the U of M Hospital, walking distances are short. However, Brookside
Apartments is far enough away from the congestion of central campus
and its recalcitrant undergrad lifestyle. For this reason, our location
is ideal in providing a stress free and study friendly environment.
You will find most of the residents at Brookside consist of Architect
and Engineering Grads from North campus, along with Interns, Residents,
Nurses, and visiting Docs from the U of M Medical Center. As a result
of this academic tenant composition, my goal is to maintain a relaxed
and quiet atmosphere. I am proud to be part of an apartment community
providing housing for so many gifted students from all over the world.

| Apartment and Area Description: 33 Two Bedrooms -850 sq. ft. 36 One Bedrooms -650 sq. ft. 3 Efficiencies -590 sq. ft. Heat, water, sewer, trash removal and recycle pick-up, as well as draperies, added storage, and assigned parking next to your apartment are included in the rent. All of our Apartments are guaranteed painted and professionally cleaned when turned over, ensuring product satisfaction. All apartments have been recently remodeled. There are microwaves above electric stoves, garbage disposals and A/C wall unit in every apartment. Only two bedroom and efficiency units will have dishwashers. All ground level apartments have patios; all upper level apartments have balconies. All apartments have large windows in the living room facing toward the interior and brook. There is a central laundry room and workout facility within the apartment community, as well as a Community room with full kitchen. We have onsite maintenance with emergency service. There is an AATA bus stop in front of Brookside and Campus busing is within a 10-minute walk. We are within a five-minute drive to highways 14, 23, and about a 3-minute drive or 20-minute walk into downtown Ann Arbor, North Campus, and U of M Hospital main entrance. |
| Leasing Information: We are a small community and we fill up quickly. My pre-lease list for fall is short, 5 for one bedrooms, and 5 for two bedrooms. Fall rental lease dates typically start from 8/3 thru 9/1. Spring/Summer/Winter availability is limited. Security deposit is equal to one month’s rent, half of which will hold an apartment for a pre-lease. All applications have a two-step process for qualification. You must qualify in the first step (application provided) before we precede to the last step, which is a credit report check. The credit bureau charges us $30.00, per report, a cost you will incur. If you are accepted the $30.00 charge will be credited to your first month’s rent.
